If there was one thing I learned through this pandemic is how to live with less. I’m not going to lie, I did go back into my shopping habits once stores started to open up again. When I did stop for a while it was because there was no where fun to wear my new clothes. It planted a little idea that not having a new outfit all the time wasn’t so cringe worthy anymore.

What I’m getting to is the thought of living out of a tiny house doesn't seem so awful even if it means less closet space. Especially since Tony and I don't have kids and aren’t planning to have any. We love to travel, but are particular about what toiletries and home comforts we have. A traveling house in it’s own sense can be as modern and/or glamorous as you want it to be.

There were two loft areas (one with a queen size bed and the other with a twin), a full stove, fridge, washer/dryer combo and plenty of hidden storage.

The lofts had very low clearance, so someone even an inch taller than us would have been very uncomfortable. I kept waking up, but it was only because I didn’t want to wake up too late for hiking the next day (should have set my alarm).

The tiny home we had a pleasure to spend the weekend in was called “The Traveler". It was one of many at the Tiny Estates.

Here are a few other tiny houses at the estate…

My experience at the Tiny Estates is really making me think of how we can build a version of a tiny house that would fit our needs. Check back with me in 10 years. 😄

Small Business Saturday | Ps & Qs Hers

Weather condition Fall/Winter

Don't forget about our many, many boutiques in Philadelphia that carry local and independent designers. Places such as Geisha House, Lost & Found, Vogabond, etc.

There is one small family ran clothing boutique (not even sure if I should be calling them a boutique =X) located in the heart of Vintage Row Philadelphia named Ps & Qs Hers. They reached out to me to discuss a collaboration. At first I thought, "There's nothing in this store that is my style."  Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Not only did I have a great time styling fall and winter layers, I ended up leaving with a bag full of purchases for my trip to Italy.

I find that their collection is mostly about comfort, but they never put fashion on the sidelines. Looking for a great wallet, backpack, delicate jewelry, a baby gift, soy candles, sturdy jacket? Yep, it can all be found at Ps & Qs. They also have a men's store-- which I have to complain-- have better shoes than the women's store.

We worked with Publish Brand, Pendleton, Herschel Supply, People's to create these looks. I was able to get a fall and winter look from Publish Brand's Lynn Jacket.

There's so much more that I didn't put on this post. No worries, that only means there will be another one coming soon! Also, a shout out to Sophorn-- his eye for fashion photography is uncanny!

Sincerely,
Sally =)

We were off to the indoor water park for my niece's birthday and I wanted to be cute, but comfortable. I found these amazing sweat like pants at H&M. Then everything else just fell into place.

I friend gave me this wonderful bag that everyone loves. I swapped my shoes out to something more water friendly when we got to the park. =D.

Kindest Regards,
Sally =)
