Small Business Saturday | Ps & Qs Hers

Weather condition Fall/Winter

Don't forget about our many, many boutiques in Philadelphia that carry local and independent designers. Places such as Geisha House, Lost & Found, Vogabond, etc.

There is one small family ran clothing boutique (not even sure if I should be calling them a boutique =X) located in the heart of Vintage Row Philadelphia named Ps & Qs Hers. They reached out to me to discuss a collaboration. At first I thought, "There's nothing in this store that is my style."  Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Not only did I have a great time styling fall and winter layers, I ended up leaving with a bag full of purchases for my trip to Italy.

I find that their collection is mostly about comfort, but they never put fashion on the sidelines. Looking for a great wallet, backpack, delicate jewelry, a baby gift, soy candles, sturdy jacket? Yep, it can all be found at Ps & Qs. They also have a men's store-- which I have to complain-- have better shoes than the women's store.

We worked with Publish Brand, Pendleton, Herschel Supply, People's to create these looks. I was able to get a fall and winter look from Publish Brand's Lynn Jacket.

There's so much more that I didn't put on this post. No worries, that only means there will be another one coming soon! Also, a shout out to Sophorn-- his eye for fashion photography is uncanny!

Sincerely,
Sally =)

Weather condition 35° | Partly sunny

Good evening!

It's Saturday (I know this is being posted on Monday-- didn't want to overwhelm everyone with too many posts) and I've been in the house since Friday with some sort of stomach bug/food poisoning. I started to feel some sort of relief so I stepped outside-- it's very deceiving to look out the window and see a beautiful sunny day then actually go outside and feel the chill. Good thing I put on thermals under my jeans and sweater. BRrrrrrr......!

Jeans and a sweater? Sure thing. Since I was uncomfortable for the last two days I went straight for a casual weekend cozy outfit. My 'jeans' or actually jeggings and the my top is  soft a little over-sized sweater. I can curl up and go to bed in this look. Hehehhe.

I love finding great quality stuff at Thirft/Vintage stores. I got this coach bag from Retrospect a vintage shop on South Street in Philadelphia for $45! The leather was a little dry but I brought it home and treated it and it's been wearing nicely since. =)

Alright, time to get some rest. See you on the next post!

Always,
Sally =)

Hello! Hello!

You ever find a pair of shoes somewhere and love it so much that you build an outfit around it?  Yup, that's what I did. It was kind of nice because it made me pull out pieces from my closet I forgot I had!

image.jpg

I find a have a lot of luck at Target when looking for fairly priced trendy clothes. I got the best deal with these shoes and my torn up jeans. They were both buy one get one 50% off!  I need to get the jeans hemmed, but it's well worth it.

There are so many outfit options that could be paired with these shoes. Today I decided to go with a rugged-rebel-girly look. Faux-leather jacket paired with a feminine flowy button up, ripped jeans and the oh so spectacular snakeskin pumps. I kept my bag simple-- no stress no mess. =)

That's all for now! I'm going to go skip around in my new obsession.

Always,
Sally =)
